Can the Dell Ati X300 videocard be installed into Dell Precision M90 or M6300?

    I would like to try it in order to reduce power consumption, but it does not start (the laptop and the videocard are tested good separately). Maybe I need some BIOS modding?

    From what laptop model did the X300 original come? There was no X300 made for the M90 or M6300, and as such, there shouldn't be an X300 that works.

    X300 is for older Dell laptops, like pre 2006 (my dad's Inspiron 6000 had the X300).

    I only see Quadros available for both workstations...
