can we replace ssd with hdd in e4300?

    i don't know how different the interface will be.. is it possible? if i can't live with the 64gb ssd..

    The E4300 uses a standard 2.5" SATA HDD. You can put in whatever 2.5" SATA drive you want. There are already options on the Dell site for traditional spinners...

    The E4200 is the one with a "custom" SSD; that one I don't know if you can use a regular HDD.

    I should have my E4300 by Thursday or Friday as it was shipped today. I'll swap the 160gig/7200 rpm for your 64gig ssd if you're interested. :) 64gig is more than enough for me. The SSD equipped ones didn't have the other features I wanted. :)

    you reliaze you can sell your 64gb ssd for more then it will cost for a 160gb drive. dont trade at all. sell the ssd at ebay then buy a nice 250 or bigger. ssd are worth alot over a normal hard drive.
