    Hey all,

I just picked up a used D610 and it only has 1GB of RAM. I would like to upgrade it to at least 2GB but i'm not sure what speed i need. Dell has the memory listed as "Dual In-line Memory Module 512MB, 533, 64X64, 8K, 200" but i'm not sure what this translate to over at Newegg?

Last question, is it possible to upgrade to 2GB RAM using FASTER RAM?

    Will this work?

You can use any speed of DDR2 memory, but it'll clock down to 533MHz because that's the best that the 915 chipsets can manage. The G.Skill memory you linked should indeed work.
