Hi there, i don't know too much about computers (i am a general internet user), for some reason i got a virus in my laptop , and now i can't get it to work anymore.
Starts, start loading , but it doesn't get to the main screen, it turns bask and does it again, and again, and again.
I've tried everything i know, went to re open with secure mode, last configuration known,etc...nothing.
I just got to the point that i know i might loose all the data that was in it, but at least i would like to be able to use it again (like reset it), or but and replace the part that is affected (hardisk, motherboard, etc.)
What can i do to make it work?
Or what do i have to replace to make it work again?

The error says disk multi partitions....

    Thanks for any help.

PS. it's an old laptop P3 Dell Latitude cpx 500, i know laptops are cheap this days , but i like it , i don't need more than that for internet use and parts for it are really cheap (i can get a new hard disk / if that is what i have to replace/, for 50 bucks.

Most likely it's the virus messing things up.

I would download Linux and burn it to a CD then boot from the CD. Then you can check if the hard disk is physically OK and copy your files to a flash drive. Once that it done then reformat the HDD and reinstall the OS.

Exactly....a dual boot machine is good for that purpose also.
