Hello I was looking to add to my collection of notebooks and I'm looking for some input on some of these models listed in the title or may any others fit the bill? I am looking at used notebooks that go for around $300 to as much as $350, less if the deal is right. All I do is surf , youtube, hulu and listen to music[ not much of a gamer]. A 13 or 14 inch screen is my preference with a 1280x800 resolution will be fine. So out of the models listed above, are there are pros or cons in comparison to those or may there be any better options that the dell gurus can come up with. Business class is what I'm looking at for durability. So suggest away, I'm open to all suggestions. Thanks so much in advance. Also looking for owners of these products to give their experience with them.

I've owned all but the E4300 (used an E4300 and E4310 a decent amount).

D630 I would avoid the ones with the Nvidia graphics as almost all Napa/Santa Rosa laptops with them are failing these days. Make sure it has the Intel Crestline X3100 graphics. Otherwise solid notebook.

E6400 nothing really to watch out for, the Quadro NVS 160M is some major weaksauce, they can be had for 300-400 and some are still in warranty.

E4300 and E4310 are pretty nice road warriors, ultraportable laptop and still has an optical drive. Can be pricy from Dell's Outlet still (Outlet still sells yesterday's laptops at yesterday's prices).

If you got the cash, look at an X300 or X301. :p
