The left click, stick mouse button( upper set) sticks on occasion - which makes using it very difficult. I have looked on ebay and it looks like the buttons are pretty integral to the shell, requiring a tear-down to replace. Is there anything else I can try in the interim?

    Thanks

    Derek.-

If you want to replace the touchpad/button assembly, you'll need to buy a new palmrest (or at the very least, take off the palmrest). Nonetheless, you can actually pry off the top pair of buttons (closer to the keyboard) with a screwdriver and see if there's anything stuck underneath.

Try at your own risk, though; I've broken a couple like this.
