    The elimination of 16:9 screens!!!!

Err don't they already have the Latitude XT2 tablet or do they plan on releasing a dedicated tablet? I'm assuming that would also announce the refresh of multiple lines with SB?

From what I am hearing, this will include Sandy Bridge Lattitude E6520, E6420 and Optiplex 990 (May be named something else, they are running out of 3 digit numbers on the optiplexes)

Correct, but I could easily see Dell doing something like a Inspiron Duo (hopefully powered by AMD Fusion) with a customized business version of Stage. The Duo is way more approachable than a XT2 from both a cost and simplicity/style perspective

Ah yeah, I can see that. One can hope that the 16:10 screen ratio remains, and if that disappears, Dell offers high resolution 19:9 screens on nearly all models.

I imagine it's going to include a refresh of their current enterprise lineup of Latitude, Precision and Optiplex along with something tablet related otherwise I doubt they'd make such a tease about this event. Could also be some updates to the SMB line in the form of new Vostro machines, the current lineup is over a year old now.

Not quite yet... the latest Vostros were announced last March. This wouldn't be a bad time to update them, though.

True, especially since Dell is now blowing out the remaining V13 models at half price :)

One can only hope! If the E64x0 line goes to 16:9 I hope they at least offer 1600x900 as an option not just 1368x768..

The last set of Dell internal slides I saw (two weeks ago) indicated all will be 16:9 and only the 14" and 15" will have optional resolutions higher than 1368x768. the highest resolution they listed on the slides was 1440x800
the rep said possibly higher resolutions displays after initial release. I asked about 1920x1080 he smiled and whispered its on the way.
