Is it just me or does dell.co.uk not have options for selecting screens for M6500?

The large business section may offer more options. When you have worked out what you want then it is time to phone up and start haggling.

Ignore the prices. Large business gets the biggest discounts. Just see the options.

So dell.co.uk CSRs are also open to price discounts?
I'll be ordering, for my use, through my univ so I guess I should qualify for large business. And I really need the discounts else the order wont be approved by my boss.

Is phone the best option or does online chat work as well?

    PS:
    1. How much discount can I expect to get over list price?
    2. Would I get bigger discounts for M6500 or Alienware M17x?
    3. Large business gets more discount than small business?

When phoning up it doesn't matter whether you are big business or an individual. Research the lowest price for the spec without the RGB display and the extra cost of adding the options you want and use that as a starting point. Also research the price of competing products. Dell CSRs tend to not give discounts but you may be able to haggle over the cost of an upgrade.
