    Thanks to the advice of people here, I decided to upgrade to Windows 7. So, I go download the drivers and Dell doesn't have any for Windows 7. Is that a problem?

    Most everything should "just work". If there are devices that don't have drivers, just use the Vista drivers... or see if you can get the proper software through Windows Update.
