DELL E5400 - LCD problem? Please help me with a solution

    Ok, I do not get this issue when I get into the BIOS and leave it on for several hours. But I get this issue frequently in VISTA and when I try to Re-install the OS. Wierd as it may sound, I think there might be a problem with my charger. I had earlier given the laptop for service to a dell authorized service guy who says he isnt able to detect the issue.

    My laptop is out of warranty and the dell guys say it might be a problem with the i/o board. They say that this i/o board cannot be replaced if the machine is not under warranty. They want me to pay for the initial engineer's visit. He would asses the system and give a quote for extended warranty. Once I pay for it, they would replace the parts as a part of extended warranty. I am confused. I might have landed with a lemon.
