    Hey,

I got this laptop, which has a screen of 14.0 inch HD Anti-Glare LED (1366x768)

Its an anti glare screen so colors are not as sharp and the screen looks washed out.

Can someone tell me how I can calibrate the display so the colors look good, or if someone can tell me where I can get a calibrated profile for this laptop?

    Thanks.

Go into your display control panel, then click the calibrate display link on the side. Adjust the colors and gamma as it shows, and be sure to skip the "brightness/contrast" section as it only serves to waste time.

I think it would be better if I find a calibrated profile, as I dont know much about this.

Do you know what other models have this screen, so I can possible use someone elses profile, as I cannot find one for E5420

if you want it calibrated, you need a colorimeter and actually calibrate your particular display with it. the Spyder3 express or pro would be fine.
Messing around with downloaded profiles or "soft profiling" it using software won't really do any charm.
