    hmm, are you saying that you managed to install Windows XP using the built-in SATA DVD burner in E6400 by slipstreaming drivers for it onto the Windows XP CD?

    I have recently purchased an E6400 and are about to reinstall it with Windows XP very soon. I can borrow a USB DVD and USB floppy from work if needed but it would be nice if I could get it to work anyway.

    How did you slipstream the drivers?

    Sorry bro my dell laptop also can not install windows XPSP2 from the disk. I want to install from Usb, has anybody install from usb, please guide me...thanks bro
