    Hey,
So i have this Dell Latitude 2100 netbook, and its giving me a problem like I've never seen before! As soon as I turn it on, I see the bootup "Dell" Screen and it turns off immediately in 2 seconds!

Any idea what could be causing this? Is this a common problem or something?

    Please help!

    :(

I would start by removing and replacing the RAM and, if that doesn't work, then try each RAM module in turn (if you have two). Occasionally the RAM contacts deteriorate and, if the BIOS can't access the RAM, then boot-up doesn't get very far. Removal / replacement cleans the contacts.
