    I have Dell Latitude C400 that I bought a months ago.
    I plan on installing an OBDII scanner on it...

    It has a 20gb hard drive on it, Who makes good hard drive for it?
    On the Caddy it missing a bolt,What size is it? (Pitch)

    You should able to use any 2.5" PATA drive. I don't know if the 48-bit LBA limit applies to the C400. The caddy and screw you should be able to find on eBay... just search for something like "C400 hard drive caddy". It should be less than $10. I don't know the specs of the actual screw, but it's most likely a variant of a "standard" Dell screw, or a "standard" laptop HDD screw.

    I have Pansonic Toughbook 18 40gb.
    I am replacing the hard drive
    with Samsung HM160HC IDE PATA 160GB
    Will the Pansonic toughbook 40gb hard drive fit the Dell C400?
    As far for the screw, Dell has the sevice manual online, found the
    specs for screw, it m 2.5x12mm,
