    G'day,
I have a D620, and I notice it to get quite hot! Just before it was plugged in, and I felt it hot, so I ran HWMonitor, and it was hovering 70 degree's all over! Now after unlplugging it, it is in the low 60's. Is this normal? Is there a way to stop it being so hot! It's usually only hot when plugged in, but can still get warm otherwise.

    Cheers.

I assume that the fan is running in which case the most likely problem is that the grille on the heat .sink is clogged with dust. This is part # 1 here. However, before considering removal you should try giving the area a good blast with a can of compressed air.

If dust is not the problem then the thermal pad may not be conducting the heat away from the CPU very effectively.
