    Dear All

I've been using Dell Inspiron for more than 3 years. It had a nice touchpad driver with which i could assign shortcuts to all the four corners of touchpad (e.g., Maximizing a window, minimizing, closing, and running a special application etc.). Now i m used to those shortcuts but they are not available in the new drivers of Dell Latitude D830, that i recently got. Can anybody point to the D830 touchpad driver having this facility or any free third party utility for that?

    Thanks

Thank you very much for the reply but my problem is still there. This driver also does not have those shortcuts.

If the Studio 1535 driver doesn't have what you want, I'm afraid the feature is no longer there. What does the Inspiron's touchpad customization panel look like? Is it similar to the one installed by these drivers?

Thank you very much for your quick response.

Studio 1535 driver does not work either. The customization panel of that driver is different. At the moment i m in the office and will post a screen shot of the panel when i m back home.

Do you mean this touchpad driver? This is the one from my old Latitude D610 running Windows XP.

I had that panel on 32-bit. The 64-bit driver is different and has the GUI because it's newer. I miss the back and forward gestures myself, but there's nothing I can do because I went with 64-bit.
