Just purchased a dell latitude e5400, have a few questions though
    Specs:
    Dell Latitude e5400
    14.1" LED Display
    Core 2 Duo p8700
    2GB DDR2 800 1 dimm
    Nvidia 9200m w/256m
    160gb 5400rpm drive
    Intel wireless N
    dvd drive

    Questions:
1.) It is coming with 2 badges (c2d and vista) how difficult is it to remove them? at least the silly vista one. not a huge deal but a pet peeve for sure.
2.) It is coming with vista, but I have windows 7 ultimate both 32 and 64bit, which one is the clear choice/most practical? is ultimate really necessary? through my school i can get a couple versions for cheap.
3.) I have a gaming rig in my sig but with this hardware, what kind of games you think i could get away with on the road? source engine maybe? really im just happy if i can play age of empires.
4.) I paid $664 for this with free next-day shipping, decent deal? I can return it if you guys recommend something stunningly similar/better

    think that's it for now

one other thing, the VT technology with the p8700...is there anything I (a student) can benefit from using this? or just anything nerdy-cool? Maybe something in connection with my desktop.

I can run Sins of a Solar Empire on my Vostro 1220 which has a p8600 and an Intel x4500HD graphic chip....you can get away with something similar....you'd be surprised what it will run I think :) I can't turn up AA or change my resolution, but it looks good and runs smooth nonetheless...I'm not complaining for a 12 incher.
