    Hello,

I just got this laptop, and I am disappointed with the sound.

I am using headphones and the sound is very bad through the headphones as compared to the last laptop I had.

Also I get beep sound always for some reason, someone know how to fix this?

Please let me know how I can get better quality sound through headphones.

    Thanks.

    Beep? Or click?

My E6420 makes a random click when docked after watching Flash in Chrome (and when Flash isn't in use, almost as if it was saying it was done with the audio and turning it off to save power or something). Haven't seen it do that anywhere else.

Beep, I even turned off the power saving in IDT control panel, it says

    ENABLE POWER MANAGEMENT

"PC Beep will be disabled while this feature is in use"

I just removed IDT and I think the beep is gone, and also the sound quality seemed to be improved.
