The title pretty much says it all. I would like to have a windows 64 bit compatible 'Video' Graphic driver for my dell E5500. The ONLY driver Dell provides is for windows 32 and lower. I would prefer not to have to buy a graphics card (if my laptop even allows it), get a new computer, or have to re-do my whole OS because of this.
Is there anything I can do to get my Integrated graphic driver compatible. Right now I have 60mb memory for my video and I was hoping a driver would increase this?
Also my Divx won't play even if I downgrade to a lower software. I can only watch Flash movies :/
    Divx just crashes.
If anyone can help me that would be SUPER AWESOME because I called the support line and they said they can't help because it simply isn't compatible.
This computer originally came with Vista, but I upgraded.
Thanks for the help guys. :D

Also windows 7 32 bit wouldnt even work because it says 'minimum requirements for this computer not met' or something like that.
    Perhaps an off-brand driver?

The E5500 only has Intel GMA 4500MHD, there is no upgrading it, it is soldered onto the motherboard. You can download the latest one here directly from Intel. I've tried this with my Latitude 13, no issues to report.

well I had a version of that for my graphics, I downloaded yours anyhow. How can I tell my maximum video storage? because 60mb may be my max in this case... The only way I knew I had 60 mb atm was a game told me how much I had. Is that my max for sure?
I don't know what the problem with the Divx would be then..

Err... Intel graphics is hardly for gaming? The memory size for Intel tends to be dynamic. Not sure if 60MB is the max, under the Intel Control Panel mine currently shows minimum 64MB, maximum 1696MB, graphics memory in use 24MB.

As far as DivX, you could always download ffdshow instead. Works a lot better.
