Dell Latitude E6400 with DDR3 1066???

    I am not sure whether my Dell Latitude E6400 support DDR3-1066.
    I installed Everest, and this is what it said:

    No the E6400 Latitude is DDR2, maximum 8 GB DDR2 800/PC2 6400.

    So how about this line:

    The 45 Series chipsets support both DDR2 and DDR3, but the manufacturer chooses which one to implement. In the case of the E6400, Dell chose to implement DDR2 (probably because it was still cheaper at the time), and thus you cannot use DDR3. On the other hand, in the case of the T400, Lenovo chose to implement DDR3, and you cannot use DDR2.
