Hello everyone. I have a Dell Latitude E6410 with a 750GB SATA hard drive. I was looking around online and seen some PCIe SSD drives, and was blown away because I never knew they existed. I would absolutely love having my OS on an SSD, freeing up my 750GB for data alone.

The problem is that the wireless card I have is a full length card, so I'm thinking that I'd have to find a half length PCIe card, if they exist. (I'm pretty sure my laptop has room for 1 full length and 1 half length card). Have any of you guys put such a thing in an E6410?

Um, just as a reminder... notebooks use mPCIe, or mini-PCIe, so most PCIe SSDs will not fit (being meant for the full size PCIe slots in desktops). There are the Intel 310 series that are designed to fit mPCIe slots, but unless your notebook happens to run SATA links to the right slot (I know the M4500 and M6500 have a mPCIe slot for these, not as sure about the E6410) it won't work.

Sorry, I was referring to mPCIe. I seen a few on Newegg. So these wouldn't work with an E6410?
