    So I have a :

    T7500 2.2 ghz
4 GB Ram (using 3.5GB only cause of XP x86)
NVIDIA Quadro FX 360M 256MB TurboCach

I am trying to play Street Fighter 4, and it cannot handle medium settings. Has anybody else having problems playing games on it?

you may need to try and use laptopvideo2go drivers to fool it into thinking its a geforce card and not a quadro that should give you some extra performance

why not try using win7 ? its more modern and has better built in support for newer cpu's and chipsets such as what you are using

and obviously visit dell and make sure you have the newest drivers for everything try lowering aa and af and just tweaking the settings to get playable performance

ofcourse your gpu might not be powerfull enough to play it atall but no harm in trying

Thanks for the response. The gpu is not strong enough, it has 128 mb dedicated and 256 mb shared. The machine is not meant for gaming.

    Requirments for SF4

    Minimum
    OS: Windows XP
CPU: Intel Pentium4 2.0GHz or higher
    RAM: 1GB or higher
HDD: 10GB of free space or more
Video Card: DirectX 9.0c/Shader3.0 or higher compatible, NVIDIA GeForce6600 series, ATI Radeon(TM) X1600 or higher or higher, VRAM :256MB or higher
Sound: DirectSound compatible, DirectX 9.0c (or higher) compatible
    Input Devices: Mouse, Keyboard

    Recommended
    OS: Windows Vista
CPU: Intel Core2Duo 2.0GHz or higher
    RAM: 2GB or higher
HDD: 10GB of free space or more
Video Card: DirectX 9.0c/Shader3.0 or higher compatible, NVIDIA GeForce8600 series or higher, ATI Radeon(TM) X 1900 or higher, VRAM :512MB or higher
Sound: DirectSound compatible, DirectX 9.0c (or higher) compatible
Input Devices: Gamepad :Xbox360 Controller for Windows

But I will admit the m2300 is a very good work/business laptop though! I have XP Pro x86 on it, I am planning to install Windows 7 Pro x64 soon, I been just lazy recently.

no problem , have a look here

very handy with plenty of info of mobile cards

but this is what you will be looking at "click"

your card can do crysis on medium at 10 fps apparently , i would say if you really wanted to play the game you could lower any fancy stuff in thee video options of the game , and due to your low gpu memory which seems to take a chunk of slower than usual gpu system ram you would need to play on lower resolution

no harm in trying . or even some overclocking with coolbits , some mobile cards can be pushed a fair bit and others cant

    Update:

I am now able to play Street Fighter 4 at 60 FPS without any problems. Most of the settings are set on HIGH. The main thing users have set is the “Variable Frame Rate” to “Off”. Now I am pretty sure some hardcore gaming enthusiasts would not like that but realistically the average-casual gamer would not mind having the setting off. I am planning to try more games soon.

Also I installed the latest drivers from the NVIDIA website and installed the latest DirectX.

FYI: This works on XP Pro x86 and 7 Pro X64 .
