    Hello all.

I'm currently reviewing on whether or not to sell my New Precision.
However, I'm wondering if it's possible to install a custom driver with a modded INF file to increase gaming performance.

I've read online it is entirely possible and was hoping a forum member could shed some light on it.
I've had a custom driver made courtesy of another member's generosity for my brothers Sony Vaio CW so I'm optimistic the same can be done for me.

+Rep will also be given to whoever can provide me with the answer.

That seems like a lot of effort for little gain. Try to OC it a bit and see if you're happy. If not, it's time to replace the 3000M.

Go here Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers and download the latest beta drivers for notebooks. I'm currently running the verde 290.53 drivers on my OC'd 4000m.

If you're already running these Geforce drivers then I wouldn't get my hopes up of anything custom for our Quadros.

Modding will get tricky and I agree with dvanburen about performance increase. The performance "difference" is quite smaller than what people/review actually say. Try ocing the hell out of it. These cards are underclocked from its counterparts and hence ocs very nice.

Yeah treat the Quadros 3000M like a GTX 560M as the core for the 3000M is derived from it.
