Has anyone ever bought from the Dell outlet and got a external dvd burner? I ordered the Latitude 13 which does not have a dvd drive, but on my order it lists qty: 1 External Dvd Burner. I find it hard to believe that Dell would throw in a dvd burner for free..

If it was originally ordered with the system by the first owner, it will be included with the system on the Outlet.

Well I got it today. And it did indeed have a dvd burner. Only thing is its for a laptop, not an external one. Which does me no good....oh well I ordered one from amazon for $40...

Wait. So you got an internal laptop DVD burner just loose in the box?

I ordered one of the Latitude 13's and saw it came with an external burner, I will be a little ticked if that ends up happening,

I got my L13 today and it also came with an internal DVD drive, but in addition it came with an enclosure, it was in a little pouch thing, don't know if you got that or not, but it might be worth contacting Dell about instead of buying a whole new DVD drive.
