dell vostro 1015 bluetooth problem

    I would try reinstalling the Bluetooth software.

    Was Win7 the original OS or did you install it later?
    Maybe you need new drives compatible with Win7...
    Hopefully not a hardware issue.

    Hmmm...
    Try to transfer some other file in a closer distance (make sure bluetooth is on and accepting to receive files). If it works fine, it is probably not a hardware problem (maybe it is a problem with the file being transferred). Otherwise, since Win7 was the original OS, the chances are that it is a hardware issue...
