    Is the Dell Vostro 1220 matte or glossy screen? And is the lid glossy or matte? I can't tell from pictures and nothing in the Dell description says anything...

    the screen is matte, the lid is glossy with a matte border on the front.

    the screen is matte if you get the LED one aka the more expensive one, otherwise it would be glossy.

    I've had both...I have the LED now, it's matte. I don't remember the other screen being glossy though (maybe it was...lol).
