Dell Vostro 1500 Help!

    Hey guys I have a Vostro 1500 and when I try to use battery it loads into windows and while loading the startup programs it will become VERY slow and freeze or Blue screen on me.

    When I use it plugged into the wall it works perfect.

    Any ideas on what is the problem?

    Have spoken to Dell care 2 times about it and I have done what they said:

    Upgraded Bios
    Fresh install of windows

    Problem is still there, help please :(

    Hi,

    what does the BSOD say? You may have a look into Event Viewer. There should be entries categorised as "crash dump". These contain the same information as the BSOD.

    Is there a good amount of heat coming from the system? Check the BIOS logs for thermal events as well.
