dell vostro 1500 ram

i have 2x1gb sticks in my laptop and im looking to upgrade to 3gb total

will this ram be able to fit in my laptop?

whats the difference between dual channel and normal ram? should i try to find dual channel ram?

Yup that's exactly what you need. Many make the mistake of buying premium laptop memory when value branded PC-5300 ram will do. Good choice.

edit: that's the same memory i'm running in my Vostro 1500, works like a champ !
