I recently bought a Dell Vostro 1700 laptop, and I am in North Africa so it was loaded with Vista in French, but I needed XP in English at the company I am working at.
Therefore, I purchased XP from the vendor that sold me the PC, and asked him to load it for me. After it was loaded, I discovered that my WiFi didn't function. One of the techs here where I am working has told me that I need to have XP reinstalled, and I am trying to find out if I can get the WiFi functionality back without having to reinstall XP.
Please advise if you can help me on this issue.

Hi, I wish you've already solved this issue. I case you didn't post a reply and I'll give you the info, the drivers exist but they're not in the usual Dell place.
