I know these exist I have seen it posted for other notebooks. A manual for employees or technicians.

The service manual? Dunno if the employees/techs use the same thing, but it does detail how to disassemble the thing...

Hi guys,

As tehe tilte of this post I know you own a Vostro Laptop. I'm desperated searching for a place where to download the Media Direct CD for Vostro or asking the favor of any of you to upload it to any place.

I have talked with Dell and as my support period has expired they can't send me a copy of this unless I buy one more year of support.

I have also downloaded a buch of MD versions publushed over the web but none of them are for Vostro and it can't be installed.

I will apreaciate a lot any help you could offer me.

 

Thanks, but I haven't gotten exact what I am looking for. The problem is that my fan stopped working, so I need to get to it to fix it. Please, how do I do it. I will appreciate a step by step guide.

Are you talking abotu the 1500 or the 1510? The dell service manual above is your best bet, there are no better options. For your information, no body on here is going to write up a step by step guide just for you.
