Sent in a few weeks ago for a failed logic board.
Signed for on the 24th, but not logged into the system and no one seems to be able to find it.
I will be calling customer support tomorrow.
Any ideas what Dell will do if it's lost?

Are you sure nobody was able to find it? Did you call with your Service Tag number?

You can track repairs with this URL.

If they truly lost it...you'll get a replacement laptop. Unfortunately they don't make E4300's anymore so you'll either get a E4310 or E6320.

Yep, I've checked numerous times with that one as well as https://depotstatustool.dell.com/depotstatustool/LaptopStatus.aspx and it shows as not yet received, even though using the tracking number for the delivery shows it as signed for last Tuesday morning.
Have been online several times with tech support checking and they show the same status with their tools.
From what I had been told previously, 5-7 business day turn around from receipt, I should have it yesterday, today, or tomorrow....but if it's not even in the system...
We will see what customer service tells me today.
Glad I pulled the drive before shipping it.

Well keep us updated, never seen that happen before. Usually depot is very fast turn around, when I shipped out my brother's M5030 to Dell, it was repaired same day and shipped back Ground to our tech shop.

Yes, I've had very god experience with both on site and parts only as well.
Was surprising as the return box wox was not even shipped out to me until 2 days after I contacted TS and they authorized the depot level.
Bummed about not being able to get a 4300 replacment if that's what it comes to, I have hands on with the 4310 and prefer the earlier one.
No one here has a 6320 though, so I can't render an opinion on one.
Have had hands on with a 6220-i5 and and 128SSD...quick little sucker.

    Well....logic board, mainboard, whatever.
had shut down and would immediately trip the overload of any adapter plugged in, as well as rapidly overheating the battery if it was latched in, but unable to get it to power up at all, much less post.
    Sigh.
Was on the phone with customer service, then tech support for about 90 minutes, now waiting for a call back from a resolution specialist.

Update: Unit was delivered tomy doorstep this morning.
Lesson learned: When replacing a bottom housing, transfer the ST number to the replacement-avoids much confusion on tracking that way.
