Is that a way to disable touchpad while typing? I saw a lot of post talking about this for Sony Vaio, I can't find the option in my dell E6500.

Currently, I am using alps driver 7.2.101.

    Thanks.

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Mouse > Dell Touchpad > Device Select > Touchpad > Disable.

You miss understood, I just want to disable touchpad while I am doing typing, not permanently disable the touchpad.
