    tells me that this screen is absolutely awesome. Maybe even better than the Dell xps 16's screen (exclude the price differential for now).

    AND it's matte. But I ain't paying > $2000 for this laptop. So is anyone else using this screen for cheaper than Dell, and how does this compare to the 17 incher inside the macbook pro?

    The M6400/6500 screen is better than the XPS 16 screen and the MBP 17 screen. The HP 8730w is equal to it and supposedly, the HP 8740w is even better.

    I'm using it....see sig....check the m6500 thread for many more. oh, of course it's better than the XPS ;) But yeah, you have to pony up.

    Are you guys talking about the LG or Samsung screen. I've seen both and the LG is superior.
