i'm looking for a manual, and perhaps a bios flash upgrade.. seeing what they have..

I try to download things for the Dell C640, e.g. items in the BIOS section..
    here

    http://support.dell.com/support/dow...=LAT_PNT_P4N_C640&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid=

It is not an EXE or ZIP. It gives me a file called DellDriverDownloadManager.application

I run it, and it says
"Cannot download the application. The application is missing required files. Contact the application vendor for assistance."

Tell it to download the file via your Internet Browser, and not via Dell's silly download manager...

Commander Wolf is right. it should be an option when you click download to use the download manager or to download directly.

You might switch browsers if it doesn't give you that option.

However, if you know the file name, you can always go to ftp.dell.com

    In this case: ftp://ftp.dell.com/bios/C640_A10.exe

    Hi

if this happens, you can use an other browser or just delete all Dell Cookies in your actual Browser, then you will be asked again, if you try to download something.

    regards
    Christopher
