    Yeah I know even I get stumped by this;

    So after upgrading my Vostro 1500 to Windows 7 Home Premium (shipped out with XP Professional) all drivers went good except for display (used Nvidia drivers) and the card reader driver.

    Dell's support site only has Vista/XP drivers and only 32 bit Vista. Now for 7 you can use Vista drivers as the driver model is practically identical but I have 64 bit OS. Having Windows search fails as it is unable to install the driver.

    I know it's the Ricoh card reader controller. I have scoured google for it, no Windows 7 drivers. It's not really a huge deal, but it's stumped me for about a month. The funny thing was I had Windows 7 RC on this notebook and it found and installed the driver but now the OEM release doesn't have the driver..
