I have a Latitude E6400 and I am thinking of buying one of the replicators to plug in the peripherals that my university is providing for me.

I've been given an ancient VGA LCD. Can I use that external screen and my laptop's display in parallel when the laptop's connected to the replicator?

    Thanks.

The laptop can support 2 simultaneous screens. Internal+external or external+external, doesn't matter.
    Internal+VGA would work fine.

I guess I wanted to make sure that the design of the replicator is not going to prevent me from keeping the laptop open and able to display.
