We just purchased an E6510 with an E-Port Replicator. Turns out that the USB ports don't work. Dell replaces the replicator, but the ports still do not work.

Ethernet and DVI both work fine.

I've tried the laptop on other docks and it won't work, so it tells me that there is a problem with the laptop.

    Any thoughts on this?

The laptop is brand new, just came in on Thursday last week (not even opened until Monday this week). I've tried dealing with Dell support, but they insist on playing games with me. I've put a contact into my Dell rep as well, in hopes he can resolve this issue for me.

Have you tried reinstalling Windows? If that doesn't work, you'll need to have Dell swap the system (if you bought new, make sure it isn't a refurb system or just a motherboard replacement).

No, didn't want to reinstall Windows. It didn't work out of the box. Waiting for my rep to get back to me, as I am going to demand a replacement. Considering it's brand new, I don't want a refurb PC or motherboard, I want a fully functional new PC.

PC is for a business - reinstalling is another waste of time in my opinion, especially considering the person that now has the PC will not be the one doing it.

    *Edit*
Got that new laptop coming now. Hopefully this one doesn't have the issues.
