Do the Latitude E4300s have the stereo mix/line-in option available? I just purchased a Lenovo and found that this line-in option is being disabled at the hardware level across all laptop manufacturers. But I also heard that Dell has addressed this in their recent models. Can anyone confirm? I am wondering if I should return my Thinkpad T400 and get the E4300 instead. Any thoughts?

Can anyone confirm whether the E4300 has this capability?

all it has is the usual mic input/headphone output.

Yes, but in earlier models the mic input could be used as a line-input too, but this functionality was taken away due to RIAA pressure. So what I want to know is has this been fixed now in the E4300 model--as I heard that Dell has been putting this functionality back in newer models.
