E5420 won't boot from CD

    I just got my E5420 today and i'm trying to install Windows 7 x64 on it instead of x86.

    When I try to boot from DVD, it just gives me "Selected boot device failed". I've no idea what's the issue. The DVD works fine on my desktop and i'm certain the DVD drive is also functional as it works fine in Windows. It doesn't even attempt to spin up the disc. It just goes straight too "Selected boot device failed". Anyone have any ideas?

    I should add i'm on the latest BIOS (A03).
