I'm looking at getting the Latitude E6220 (if it ever comes out) or possibly the E6320. Anybody have a clue as to whether or not Dell will offer the 12 inch E6220?

FWIW, Lenovo has released their 12" X220 which seems to be a pretty good setup. While I would prefer the DELL machine, if it's not going to be offered I may go with the X220.

    Thanks,
    Harvey

Wasn't the E6220 already previewed? I think it should be out soon.

As a note, I spoke with a Dell rep not long ago, and he said their systems are estimating launch for June, 2011. Personally, I have recently ordered an E6320 instead, as based on our conversation I'm pretty sure the E6220 will not support i7s.

You got more info out of your rep than I got out of mine. I'm also considering the E6320, so I would be interested in your impressions when you get it.

As I indicated, Lenovo is now selling their X220 (12.5") and it does have the i7 option (this option also includes a USB 3.0 port). June seems late since most other vendors have now announced for sale their equivalent models - Dell could lose some early adopter sales as a result.

    Thanks for the info,
    Harvey
