e6400 4/6/9 Cell battery size

Hi,

Just building an e6400 on the site. How much larger is the 6 cell compared to the 4 cell? I dont want a battery that sticks out at all. The 9 cell is ugly, and I was hoping the 6 cell doesnt stick out the back.

Neither the 6-Cell nor the 4-Cell stick out the back. Only the 9-Cell does.

 

I think the 4 and 6 cell do not stick out. the 4 cell is basically the 6 cell with 2 fewer cells installed, physically they are the same size. but the 4 cell is a little lighter.

if you don't want something that sticks out the back, but want max battery life, then the 6 cell is the best choice
