    Hi folks,

I just received a new Latitude E6400 laptop today for work. I have already set it up to operate wired with my DLink WBR-2310 router. When I connect to internet using a VPN connection, I open IE and have some proxy settings configured in there.

When I was trying to go wireless, I had downloaded Firefox so I didn't have to change or remove any of the proxy settings. I search for available networks and I see my home network listed. I enter the encryption/authuntication code, but I'm unable to connect. I can connect to this wireless network using DSi's, Wii, iPod touch, etc, but for some reason my laptop won't connect. I'm sure it's a network setting, or perhaps a driver not installed, but I'm really looking for a place to start at this point. Any suggestions?

    Thx :)

Which version of Windows and which wireless card? If the card is Intel make sure that the latest driver is installed but I would not install the Intel ProSet software.

I was able to get this to work, though I'm not sure that anything was actually changed on either the router or the laptop, but I can now access my home network. Thank you for the reply :)
