    does anyone know if one can safely accomplish charging battery outside of the computer for hot spares u can buy products on the internet that say u can safely do but seems like its in the air on the safeness of this also these products all seem to be the same item so idk but if it is possible could u use a custom plug like the eBay(that i just spoke of)ones with a oem adapter ?
    just thinking guys but something like a external charger would be extremely usefully for me and everyday life

    Safety is key when dealing with lithium-ion batteries. With things like center taps and balance charging needed for safe charging, I wouldn't mess with the battery.

    My E6400 isn't used very often anymore, so I use it as a battery charger. This is much safer than an aftermarket battery charger, but obviously more expensive. ;)

    i thought about that but the price is just not practical maybe if i could by one for 100 dollars
