I just received my E6410 today from the Outlet. Overall, I am very pleased with it (more than I have been with previous laptops). However, I'm finding that one side of the battery moves around a bit. Is this a known build quality issue?

Little threads rapidly sink out of sight and get forgotten. While it make take some time to wade through the whole of this thread, you will learn a lot in the process.

Having sub-forums for each model would create a lot of compartmentalised thinking when, in reality, many are common issues to the whole family.

Am I going to overheat the GPU playing HL2 or SC2 (on low) if using the NVS3100m?

I just did a fresh install and I'm missing the driver for a "Generic Cardbus Controller", which I'm assuming is my SC card slot. I don't know which driver package it is..

Also I believe I have the Windows SATA AHCI drivers, where can I find the Intel ones?

Can someone please check if this laptop throttles?

Play some games + heavy cpu usage.
Run prime95 + furmark and see if Gpu-z or Throttle Stop shows any issues.

    Thnks.

Is there a Ricoh driver under the chipset category.

Intel Rapid Storage under the SATA category.

Does anyone else have a problem with the the wlan-card?

Mine will sometimes not be able to connect to a wireless network, none will show up in the list of available networks.
It starts working again after I've disabled and enabled the card in the control panel. The switch on the side of the case does nothing on the situation though.

This happened after I updated the driver btw.

    Any ideas?
