Hi. I bought a 6410 and the power adapter plug did not insert far enough into the jack so that the plug was flush to the case, there was a small amount of metal showing from the jack all around. The plug would kind of sag down due to no support from the case. Just wanted to know if it was my unit or if other owners adapters (black rubber) make contact with the case. I would also like to know if they have improved the keyboard in the flex dept.
    Thanks

    1. It is normal that the power plug does not completely into the socket. Note that the power socket in the computer is not fixed to the board (see service manual) so it may feel slightly loose. However, this means that any stress on the socket won't break the electrical connection.

    2. The backlit keyboard has less flex than the non-backlight version. If your keyboard has a little flex then one fix is the remove the keyboard, very slightly bend it so that the middle is lower than the sides and then replace into the chassis.
