    Guys

I have an E6410 with NVS 3100M card, I want to run dual output and i believe this is possible by docking it with an advanced port replicator.

Can anyone confirm if this is correct or not?

    Thanks

You can do it that way by connecting it to an E port plus or connect a single display to your laptop and use the internal display as the second one. Both ways work.

You can connect it to a regular E-Port (not plus) and connect one monitor to the DVI and one to VGA. I am using a pair of 21" Dell screens in that configuration now.

jcthorne I have the same setup as you (19" though) but can't get the actual laptop display to act as a third display. Are using just the two 21's or do you have all three working concurrently?

On my old Acer I could use the HDMI and VGA outputs for dual monitor with no docking, that might work on the Latitude as well.

JF: Like most computers of its generation the E6410 can only drive two displays at the same time, regardless of what you connect. I think some of the newest Precision series nvidia cards can drive three or more.

hayzi: IMO the E-Port Plus is the best option since it has two pair of digital outputs (2xDVI+2xDP) in addition to VGA but the basic E-Port replicator and probably the built-in DP+VGA ports can also drive two external displays.

Docking is best though, just because you don't have to unplug a million cables every day.

Yes I'm running two 24" monitors (Dell U2410) from my E6410 with intel HD graphics. Connected from the advanced dock using two display ports.

Also have a 3rd monitor via a usb displaylink adapter.

So far no issues with 3 24" monitors.
