I've got a dell 5520 wireless broadband card in my current d630 (vista/64) that I'd like to swap into the new e6420.
Does anybody know of compatibility issues w/ e6420 and win7/64?

It's not compatible. 630/830 was the last series it was compatible.
The 5530 replaced it for the EXX00 series,
and the 5550 is for the EXX20 series.
I don't think they even made Win7 drivers for it.

Hey...D830 here, what's the best Windows7 supporting HSPA/HSDPA card I could install in it?

Can I put a 5550 in there and still have it work?
