e6420 battery sticks out the bottom?

    It looks like from the screens the new e6420 has a solid back end with no place for a battery to stick out. This means they will be moving the latitude line to having the battery on the bottom with extended battery. What a bummer. I guess they really don't expect business users who need to travel to use the machine on their laps?

    Has been discussed. Battery would stick out the back. There is an E port docking connector on the bottom of the E6420 so the bottom of machine has to be flat.

    Hmm. It must have a weird kink in it. Good news though. Now if only it had a better videocard.
