I just got my Latitude E6510 and I'm running into a little problem. After the display turns itself off after a few minutes of idle activity, I'm unable to have the display turn back on by moving the mouse or pressing any keys. Has anybody else run into this problem and know of any solutions? Thanks.

Check that you have the latest version of the BIOS and the graphics driver. Unreliable resume from S3 has been an intermittent problem over the years.

Do Latitudes come with a utility that lets you check for BIOS and driver updates? Or is going to Dell Support website and manually comparing versions the only way?

Enter your computer's service tag into the Dell support site and it will list the latest versions of all the relevant drivers and software.

    Dell Client System Update

I have neither personally installed nor used it, but read here that it's like the Lenovo System Update.

You can check it out here.
