Looking to order a new work laptop, and just wanting to know if this is possible. On my E6400 I have the Nvidia card doing this just fine, but since I don't need any above average graphics performance, was going to see if the Intel graphics card would run these just fine?

Note: I am using the larger e/dock with dual dvi, obviously.

Has anyone tried this with the intel card, or do I have to upgrade to the nVidia to make this work?

Integrated graphics have been able to drive 1080p displays since at least the 945. Obviously you won't be able to play the latest games at 1080p, but for general usage the HD3000 should be more than sufficient. You don't need dual-link DVI either; regular DVI, VGA, DP, etc, should suffice.
